This week students will perform an experiment to look at how enzymes act on certain foods and discuss how this process happens when they eat. We will put pineapple on gelatin to show what happens when the enzymes in the fruit come into contact with the gelatin.
We will then perform an on-line enzyme activity as a follow up to the lab.
Freshmen will also go on a field trip to the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth while the rest of the school takes the PSAT and SAT tests. Pep rally will also take place on Thursday, October 12th.
