Week 31

This week students analyzed their dragons to see if they were phenotypically (physical) the same or genotypically (genes) the same. If so, they had to explain why they may have looked the same but had different genes. This exercise counted as a quiz grade based on the questions they had to answer and how effectively they worked in groups to finish the project.

We will finish this week by exploring different kinds of human genetics and looking at pedigrees. Pedigrees are family trees that help scientists study how genetics are passed down from family members.
